Mayor Judy Titsworth

Judy Holmes Titsworth was elected as Mayor for a two-year term beginning November 2018 through 2020 and ran unopposed in both 2020 and 2022 Her current two-year term expires 2024.  She was originally elected as City Commissioner in November 2012 for a two-year term expiring November 2014 and again in 2016 and 2018.

Mayor Titsworth was elected by the Commission to serve as Vice-Chair/Deputy Mayor 2012-2013.  In 2013, she was elected to serve as Commission Chair, a position she continued to fill through November 2018.

Mayor Titsworth attended the University of Alaska and Manatee Community College majoring in business.  She has spent the last 30+ years in the construction and development industry.

Community involvement includes serving as a Wildlife Rehabilitator for over 30 years.  Mayor Titsworth also enjoys the outdoors - fishing, scuba diving, boating, and is also an artist. 

While serving as Commissioner, Mayor Titsworth served as the Roads, Bridges, Canals, and Erosion Liaison; Buildings and Grounds; and the Code Enforcement Liaison for the City.  She also served as alternate for the Manatee County Emergency Operations Center.  Mayor Titsworth, with her husband Steve, have five children and numerous grandchildren.
