Abigail Van Eck is our Public Works Executive Assistant. Her responsibilities include operational support, project administration, and purchasing management. She assists with the project management and administration of construction, operations, and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure including the City’s parks, recreational structures, beach accesses, facilities, roadways, and stormwater infrastructure. Tray Thorp is the City’s Parks and Landscaping Supervisor. She is responsible for supervising the City’s Parks and Beautification projects. This includes the maintenance of our parks and recreational facilities, landscaping citywide, boat docks, medians and roadway islands, and much more. She has a great team that assists her in making the City of Holmes Beach not just a beautiful place to visit but an even better place to live. Jessie Camburn is our City’s Public Works Foreman. Jessie’s responsibilities include managing general maintenance of the city, along with organizing and supervising activities for the operation, maintenance, and repair in all areas of the City’s infrastructure, including stormwater, roadway and sidewalk repair, curbing, painting, hauling, rights-of-way maintenance, renovation, new construction and maintenance of City buildings and equipment. Jessie supervises the Public Works Maintenance Technicians. He’s responsible for the safety, care and maintenance of City buildings, equipment, and tools. Dylan Calella, Engineering Specialist

Dylan Calella works as an Engineering Specialist for the City. His main responsibilities involve applying the City’s Public Works Standard Details through right of way management, which includes permit reviews, inspection, and ensuring that construction adheres to best practices. Additionally, he helps develop and maintain the City’s geographic information system inventory and tracks the condition of the City’s infrastructure for long-term planning purposes. Dylan is also involved in the City’s initiatives to improve its resiliency by working with various organizations to implement clean water projects and improve preparedness for flooding events. Sage Kamiya is our City’s Superintendent of Public Works and City Engineer. His responsibilities are two-fold. As Superintendent of Public Works, he is responsible for leading the department in the construction, operation, and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure including the city parks, recreation facilities, beach accesses, facilities, roadways, and stormwater infrastructure. As the City Engineer, Sage is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the City’s Public Works Standard Details which contain Commission approved engineering details for civil engineering construction activities within the City, and leading the design and construction efforts of the City’s Capital Improvement Program.
